Music Artist Poster Series Design :
2020 Spring , 4 Weeks
Design a poster series for toe , a Japanese post rock band
Consisting of
a typography poetry poster,
a music concert poster and
a tribute poster.
I designed two themes: Fluidity and Urban
to present my understanding of their music philosophy .
Fluidity:
Inspired by the protean rhythm and velocity form their works. The composition of the posters have playful visual guideline. The fluid background implicit the momentum. The alignment of the foreground texts represent toe’s fluctuate style and abundant musical elements.

Urban:
toe’s music is full of modern urban accent, This poster series use scattered yet organic composition to create an uncertain hierarchy, reflecting the restlessness and diversity expressed from toe’s music.
